Two weekends ago at mass, Fr. Dennis read a poem during his sermon, “The Dash” by Linda Ellis. Fr. Dennis is a tremendous speaker. I have always loved his sermons but this one in particular was special. It got my heart beating faster and me more focused on his words. This poem meant so much that first day I heard it. The fact that is only Tuesday, blows my mind. It has been one heck of a week and we aren’t even to the middle of it. But in all fairness it’s nothing to really complain about. We live in a world so large, only few can quantify its actual size. But to quantify it is not really important at a time like this.
