Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 30

Edition 30: December 25, 2015

Merry Christmas folks! Yes, I’m a day late. But let’s pretend it’s Christmas morning again! Finally, I can post some of my favorite pictures I have ever taken! Earlier this month, I had several Christmas pictures shoots. But because I didn’t want to take the surprise away from the people receiving the Christmas cards, I refused to post any until after Christmas. Possibly over-thinking this, but ah well. Anyhow, I had the privilege and the pleasure of taking pictures of the Crisp family for the second year in a row.…

Putting down the cookies and getting back to work…

Day late, but not a dollar short! I know that today is the Christmas hangover, but it doesn’t hurt to throw out one more Merry Christmas. I mean a late one is better than none at all! I sincerely hope that you had a wonderful Christmas. As for my Christmas, it maybe was one candy cane short of perfect. Just kidding I really don’t like candy canes; it was perfect! When you put family, great food, Cabernet Sauvignon and plenty of laughter in one room, how could you not have…

New Years Resolution #1

I wonder just how many pictures on average a family will take every Christmas? All together my sisters and I probably take at least 50 but maybe upward, pictures of us four together. After Christmas this year, I am giving myself a little task to complete. I would love to put together in a book, chronologically, all pictures I can find of us four girls. I can’t even imagine how many there must be, but it would/will be awesome. I may need to just do Christmas pictures to begin with…

A White Christmas. Ok.. a little brownish-white

Folks, just to let you know it’s getting awfully close to the middle of December. That means that in 13 short days you’ll be on vacation from work, enjoying (hopefully) the quality time spent with family and friends. In some parts of the world you may get to experience the white, fluffy stuff they call snow. But down here in south Texas the occasional sleet is about all you’ll see. There are obvious pros and cons of this, however. The cons are all superficial of course. We don’t really get…

Ninety-Degree November Days?!? Say What!

Truth be told, I had plans to title this post, “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas” or something around there. However, a photo shoot outside in Texas at 90°, yeah well I figured that was automatically disqualified. There goes Texas weather saying “nanny, nanny, boo-boo” to all of the retailers and their Winter apparel departments! But seriously what a fun shoot. This past Sunday I made the journey out to D’Hanis, Texas. Oh say you don’t know where D’Hanis is? Never heard of it? Well that’s probably because it…

Top 7 Old Country Songs**

** that will be sung at my family’s Christmas Christmas really is right around the corner! Scary, huh? This Monday I had a meeting about our Christmas charity event. Yes, Halloween is over and now it’s onto Christmas. It is seriously the first week of November! Let me enjoy the fall weather first before I think about snowmen, elves, Santa Claus, and nativities! But that got me thinking about how much I love getting together for Christmas with my family, well actually any holiday or reason in general! When the…
