Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 30

Edition 30: December 25, 2015

Merry Christmas folks! Yes, I’m a day late. But let’s pretend it’s Christmas morning again! Finally, I can post some of my favorite pictures I have ever taken! Earlier this month, I had several Christmas pictures shoots. But because I didn’t want to take the surprise away from the people receiving the Christmas cards, I refused to post any until after Christmas. Possibly over-thinking this, but ah well. Anyhow, I had the privilege and the pleasure of taking pictures of the Crisp family for the second year in a row.…

Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 29

Edition 29: November 27, 2015

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to take engagement pictures for this wonderful couple, Eric and Kelsey. They were so much fun! Even Ellie got in on the action acting as our guard and my assistant, obviously. With all of the green grass around, it is hard to believe this picture was taken in November! This had to be a quick post, about to head off on a road trip to Louisiana. Let’s pray that my Aggies BTHO lsu tomorrow. Fingers and toes crossed!

Fave Photo Friday: The Pearl Brewery San Antonio Texas

Of late, I have been in the Pearl Brewery area taking pictures for Dhruvi and her blog, Stilettos And Sequins. We’ve been meeting there around 7:30 in the mornings, before work, so she can post on her site twice a week or so. I’ve not only enjoyed the experience of taking pictures there, but the atmosphere is so perfect. In the mornings, it’s quiet and beautiful. Even through the fog, we’ve had to deal with the past couple of times. There are several places to grab coffee or breakfast. Hopefully…

Happy Birthday Mila!

Mila's 1st Birthday

Earlier this month, I photographed, perhaps the cutest shoot and subject to-date. Mila, her family and I met at the park early one Saturday morning to take some pictures for her upcoming 1st birthday. And Monday she turned 1! A couple of weeks ago I shared a Fave Photo Friday post with y’all of sweet Mila, but I didn’t want to share too many pictures until after her birthday. Well I can’t bear to wait any longer! What a doll! Her expressions throughout the shoot were just “Awww” worthy. It…

Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 25

Edition 25: October 23, 2015

It hasn’t been the most fun last couple of days. Yesterday, not only did I watch my Aggies take a beating and look like crud, I also started feeling sick. Sure enough, I came down will my yearly case of strep throat. After a visit to Texas MedClinic and a shot (not in my arm….), I was sent back home for a day of ibuprofen every 4 hours, Gatorade out of a sippy cup, and quite the nap. But now, I’m feeling a little more productive, so I figured I’d catch…

Sneak Peek: On Campus with Jordan

Graduation Pictures at UTSA // sheerheart.org

Once again, I get lucky. This weekend I met up with Jordan to take her graduation pictures on the campus of UTSA, and it was a gorgeous day! Last time I photographed at UTSA it was the same kind of beautiful day. Sun shining and a light breeze in the air. Of course, you don’t expect it to be 90+ degrees only two weekends away from November, but another day breathing in the fresh air is all I need to be thankful for. 250 pictures and an hour or so…

Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 24

Edition 24: October 16, 2015

It’s Fri-day, it’s Fri-day! < insert happy dance > Well it’s been way too long since I last had a Fave Photo Friday post! But I just had to share this one from a shoot I had earlier this month. I will have more to share of sweet, happy Mila, but that will come later when she turns the big 1 year old! But this picture. Y’all I absolutely adore black and white pictures. And this was a picture that accidentally got taken during an outfit change and camera adjustments!…

A Weekend in Aggieland

What does 416 miles and 36 hours equal? A mighty quick weekend to my second homeland, College Station, Texas. Thanks to my Dad, I had the chance to take two of my sisters and a cousin up to Aggieland for a game day. As I got closer to College Station on Friday evening, it dawned on me how long it had been since my last visit. Maybe five months isn’t a long time to you, but for someone who lived up there for over five years, it has seemed like…

Summer-time, Vacation-time

West Texas Weekend

Follow my blog with Bloglovin This summer has been defined by my many weekend adventures. And because I am a simple country girl, I tend to call any trip outside of Medina County, a vacation! June: Frio trip and Rockport! July: Frio again, then the Hill Country with my family and of course another river trip but to the Comal. August: Guadalupe River trip and this past weekend I was out in West Texas! Due to current time constraints, I’m not able to get an entire post up right at…
