A little dose of miniature donkey will surely make it a great day!

Happy happy Monday everyone!

It’s time to kick another week in the tail. I don’t know how I will ever manage to get into gear today but I am definitely looking forward to my weekend in good ole College Station. I don’t know if it will be ready for me to come back so soon!

This weekend had to be one of the most beautiful set of days. It was absolutely wonderful. We got a hint of true fall weather and yet the sunshine was so refreshing. I even had to bust out the scarves! To take advantage of such a delightful day, yesterday my two little sisters and cousin went to feed cubes to the commercial heifers and they were also so sweet to help me feed. Took me half the time with all those extra set of hands.

I am not joking when I said I put them to work. The biggest help was in the hay department. Usually it takes me a good 45 minutes to take hay around to all of the different pens. Not that I mind this amount of time. It’s actually quite relaxing. However, when you’re hungry and meatloaf is waiting for you at home… getting things done faster, is never a bad thing!

All in all, a very successful day. When we went down to the “little triangle” to feed hay to those cows, I realized that Graham, our miniature donkey, was with them. He has got to be one of the coolest animals ever. Before we got him earlier this year, I was pretty much a cow/dog/goat kind of person. I really have never been around donkeys/horses etc too much. But now he is right up there with my dog as one of my favorite animals! He is always looking for a carrot or some graham crackers (hmm guess that’s how he got his name…). On the way back home, I grabbed a few cubes to feed our little mascot!

Isn’t he kind of beautiful?!?!?!?! I will always love snapping a pic with this wonderful jack…..butt??
