Almost two weeks later, I’m back at work, no sand in sight, hair no longer blowing in the wind off the coast. But I’m here nonetheless. Our family vacation to Port Aransas was a relative success, if you don’t count the wind keeping us at the pool most of the time. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I didn’t tote my camera around a whole lot. I unplugged for the most part and enjoyed the sights and happenings.
But I seriously wish I would have taken pictures of the food we ate. From the pancakes we made one morning to Mom’s ham, we kept full. And keeping in the beach spirit, we also tried our hand at homemade piña coladas. Several corn hole tournaments took place, random games in the pool and of course each evening a few games of pitch were played. Four days and three nights sure went by quick, but I guess that is usually the case on a family vacation. Looking forward to next year’s romp in the sand!

And of course, it just wouldn’t be a sheerheart.org post without some cows! Thursday before we left for the coast, I went out and volunteered to feed cows. It was too pretty of a day to not pull out my phone and snap some pictures.
As always, hope you have a super day and come back to visit!
