Almost two months ago, a Posh VoxBox greeted me at my doorstep full of goods to test out and review. I get these on occasion through Influenster and have found some great products in the process.
If you haven’t heard of Influenster you should take a few minutes to check it out. On almost a daily basis, I find myself giving my opinion of products and places, whether it be person-to-person or online somewhere. Being an online shopper, I have learned to rely on feedback from other buyers to help me decide whether or not I will purchase. On Influenster I can leave a review on all sorts of products, from food to health products to makeup/skin care items. I even have reviewed my dog’s food before.
But to focus on this Posh VoxBox in particular, below I have given my summarized review on my three favorite products. If you’ve used one of these products before, I’d love to know your thoughts as well!
This box was sent to me at no cost to myself in exchange for my honest review. This post contains an affiliate link, please see my Disclosures page for more information. Thank you for your support!
AQUIS Lisse Luxe Hair Towel
Do you have a Granny that has told you’ll catch a cold if you go to sleep with a wet hair? Well I’ve been reminded of this multiple times in my life. But with this hair towel, showering at night isn’t as much of a hassle anymore.
By far, the AQUIS hair towel was my favorite item in this box. After my shower, I’ll apply a leave-in conditioner and comb through my hair (that really needs a trim ASAP). Then I’ll wrap it up tight into a turban-like shape and go about the rest of my evening until I’m ready to call it a night. Just before crashing into bed, I’ll remove the towel and hang up. I am thoroughly amazed at how much water is wicked out of my hair, not to mention how much more gentle this towel is versus my regular ones.
Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift
$65.00 – Link to product on Ulta
At first, this didn’t rank as high as it does now because I wasn’t sure how well it actually worked. But after using 1-2x/day for the last two months and I have indeed noticed. My eyes look less tired in the mornings. Easy to use and relaxing. Now I’m not sure I would buy at full price, but then again what do I buy at full price?!?! However, when Ulta offers 20% off, I’d be more inclined to purchase.
BROWFOOD Aqua Brow Powder + Pencil Duo
$25.00 – Link to product on Amazon
This product is the reason why I love Influenster. I would have never tried something like this. It’s packaging is unique along with the product itself. Personally however, I don’t use the applicator and pencil. I only use the product in the tube with an angled-liner brush. I feel that I have more control that way. And since I was blessed with fairly easy to maintain brows, I don’t need much more than 20-30 seconds each morning.
And quite frankly, the only reason why I touch them at all is because in high school I took a ground ball to my eye before a game. Since then I have had an impressive scar buried in my left brow. I try to cover it, but any other product except for BROWFOOD wipes off after a few hours.
Sigma Beauty Aura Powder Blush – $19 – Link to product on Amazon
A great blush, perfect color. I just don’t see the point in spending more than $10 on a blush.
Other products included that just didn’t meet the mark:
- Sigma Beauty F40 Large Angled Contour Brush – good but would I buy it, no.
- Julep Boost Your Radiance Reparative Rosehip Seed Facial Oil – the scent is fantastic; however, I didn’t notice any significant results from its use.
- Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Defrizzing Shampoo & Conditioner – sounds like it would solve all of our summer problems, right? Too bad it left a weird residue on my scalp each time I used them.
The Posh VoxBox turned out to be one of the more successful boxes I have received. Looking forward to more reviews to come.
As always looking forward to hearing from y’all!
