Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 30

Edition 30: December 25, 2015

Merry Christmas folks! Yes, I’m a day late. But let’s pretend it’s Christmas morning again! Finally, I can post some of my favorite pictures I have ever taken! Earlier this month, I had several Christmas pictures shoots. But because I didn’t want to take the surprise away from the people receiving the Christmas cards, I refused to post any until after Christmas. Possibly over-thinking this, but ah well. Anyhow, I had the privilege and the pleasure of taking pictures of the Crisp family for the second year in a row.…

Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 29

Edition 29: November 27, 2015

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to take engagement pictures for this wonderful couple, Eric and Kelsey. They were so much fun! Even Ellie got in on the action acting as our guard and my assistant, obviously. With all of the green grass around, it is hard to believe this picture was taken in November! This had to be a quick post, about to head off on a road trip to Louisiana. Let’s pray that my Aggies BTHO lsu tomorrow. Fingers and toes crossed!

Fave Photo Friday: The Pearl Brewery San Antonio Texas

Of late, I have been in the Pearl Brewery area taking pictures for Dhruvi and her blog, Stilettos And Sequins. We’ve been meeting there around 7:30 in the mornings, before work, so she can post on her site twice a week or so. I’ve not only enjoyed the experience of taking pictures there, but the atmosphere is so perfect. In the mornings, it’s quiet and beautiful. Even through the fog, we’ve had to deal with the past couple of times. There are several places to grab coffee or breakfast. Hopefully…

Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 25

Edition 25: October 23, 2015

It hasn’t been the most fun last couple of days. Yesterday, not only did I watch my Aggies take a beating and look like crud, I also started feeling sick. Sure enough, I came down will my yearly case of strep throat. After a visit to Texas MedClinicย and a shot (not in my arm….), I was sent back home for a day of ibuprofen every 4 hours, Gatorade out of a sippy cup, and quite the nap. But now, I’m feeling a little more productive, so I figured I’d catch…

Working Cows w Grandpa

Occasionally weekends come around and I have no extensive plans. This is becoming less and less often, but when they do come around, I welcome them with open arms and try my damnedest to make the most of it! It was only a couple of weeks ago, I shared some pictures and happenings from the Commercial Heifer Validation. That was a fun day but a bit different from the usual working cow events. Like I summarized in that post and many prior, it doesn’t matter how many years I grow…

I’ve Been Eating Well Lately

Hamburger Steak and Fried Eggs for Breakfast

In previous posts, I have spoken a lot about how fortunate I am to live in a family and a place where good food is not hard to find. In recent years, I have branched out and opened my palette up to new experiences. But sometimes the oldies will always remain the goodies. So I figured I wouldย show off a little and toot my mother’s horn a bit, of course. Actually let’s start with that. Last weekend, all of my other sisters were one place or another, so I was…

Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 23

Edition 23: April 3, 2015

Woohoo! It’s Friday and I’m posting again for the 3rd time this week! Baby steps :) Anyhow, if you checked out yesterday’s post, you’ll recognize this picture. But I wanted to post it as my Fave Photo Friday, because there is just so many things I love about this picture. First off, the colors are so bold and vibrant. The bluer than blue sky last Friday made for such a perfect backdrop on so many of those pictures I took. Secondly, the angle I thought to take this photo with…

Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 21

Well I’m here with my Fave Photo Friday, as promised in my post yesterday, just in time before your weekend starts! This picture was taken at the Ciblio Nature Center outside of Boerne, Texas, on a gorgeous day. There was a break in between all of the cold and I caught this golden beauty. Can’t wait to get this printed and hung in my new place!! Have a great weekend y’all!

Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 20

Wow! Edition No. 20. This series has become much more than I would have ever anticipated. Without planning on it, Fave Photo Friday has helped me step from behind the camera and show off some of my work. At the beginning I thought it would be a great way show off some of my work, while at the same time increasing traffic to my site. A couple ofย editions in I realized that this series was making a huge impact on me. Now more often than not I carry my camera…

Fave Photo Friday: Edition No. 18

Edition 18: January 16, 2015

It’s back! Fave Photo Friday is back and here to stay. At least for another 49 weeks in 2015. So this photo is just darling. There was no way in heck I wasn’t going to use this at some point on my blog. Happy kids in photos are a real treasure. These two were so fun to photograph. Kyndall wasn’t the most cooperative at times, but she was never a crying baby. Mostly just uninterested, but her big brother had a knack for getting her attention. However, keeping her corralled…
